I’m still babying myself. Last night I didn’t feel good. I felt like I got a flu bug. This morning after we took Jeter and Cappy out, I slept more. I felt a bit better but still my throat is quite sore. We didn’t go out anywhere today except to the PetSmart. This kind of lazy Sunday is what we needed. My husband felt the same.
In the evening, I baked some peanut butter doggy biscuits for my corgis. I got a set of dog themed cookie cutters from my husband for my birthday and today was the first time I used them. There are 3 sized bone shape, 2 sized fire hydrant shape, 1 big dog house shape, and 1 big dog paw shape in the set. I didn’t use big ones today.
My corgis were getting excited while I was baking their treats. The new cookie cutters worked fine and I was happy about the result 🙂
I gave two little ones to Jeter and Cappy after the biscuits were cooled off. They were crazy about the homemade treats 🙂
“Can I eat this now??? Pleeeeease??”
I made a little bag for one of my husband’s coworker who sometimes gives us treats for our corgis. No running today. Just relaxing and baking doggy cookies. Hope you had a great Sunday!
The weather is too hot for my corgis these days. Every time I took them back to the house from walk or run, they drank some water and lay down on the hardwood floor to cool their furry bodies. So … Continue reading →
Yesterday and today I baked some doggy biscuits for my Jeter and Cappy. If you read my blog, you already know about the shape changed cookie cutter 🙂 I made “Boomer & Lulu’s peanut butter crunch biscuits”. It was one … Continue reading →
I completed 40% of my project. It was Day 40 and I ran 4.84 miles. I didn’t go to the gym at 5 a.m. this morning because last night I stayed up late again baking doggy biscuits. Anyway, only 10 more days to reach the half way mark 🙂
I baked another batch of doggy biscuits in the afternoon. Some of them are for my precious corgis. The rest I used to make a little gift basket for the Doggy Dojo pups. I will write more about making the doggy biscuits in another post.
It was cloudy and drizzling all day. I’m trying to feel the Christmas spirit, but this year feels different because of the family gathering thing. I miss my late mother-in-law…
My Day 39 was more relaxing. I didn’t drive around the world to find things and I slept more. Yesterday my husband said he walked an additional 2 plus miles during the lunch time. He didn’t tell me where he went ( he just said “secret secret” and smiled ) but he did say his legs were really tired. I did many things yesterday and got tired, too. So my husband had a day off from the gym today and I could sleep more in the morning 🙂
I ran 4.64 miles today. My legs felt heavy for a while but after 1 mile everything was okay. It was drizzling outside this morning and the gym was not that crowded. I think I can say running became my habit now. I don’t think about it. I just do it 🙂
My husband’s coworker gave him doggy treats for our corgis. Jeter and Cappy are the unofficial mascots of my husband’s office and some coworkers are our corgis’ photo subscribers 🙂 She is one of their fans and a dog owner too. Her dog will get some doggy cookies from me.
Today I got a package. That is from Elko Nevada. In the box, there are yummy looking doggie cookies from “Let Them Eat Cake…Bakery”. It is one of the winning prize from “the daily corgi Halloween costume contest” – Jeter … Continue reading →
